Originally from Calgary AB, Dr. Paras moved to Vancouver for University on a field hockey scholarship. She attended Simon Fraser University for her Bachelor and Masters of Science. Attending the University of British Columbia for Medical School. During this time she and her husband lived at the Ronald McDonald House as the nighttime house managers. Residency brought her to Edmonton, and she has fallen in love with the city. She practices as a general family doctor with a special interest in women’s care. During the week she is actively involved in Obstetrics, Gynecology, Menopause treatment, surgical assisting and general family medicine care.
Outside of work, she keeps very active enjoying Edmonton’s outdoor life: mountain biking, running with her dog through the trails and exploring Edmonton’s food scene.
