Also called facial fillers, dermal fillers are gel injectable formulas made up of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) to provide volume, smooth lines and plump areas on the face. Dermal fillers are suitable for around the eyes, cheeks, mouth, lips and jawline.

What to expect

IN-TREATMENT

Ice will be applied to the skin prior to treatment and local anesthetic is applied 30 minutes prior. Small needles are used to inject the filler into the desired area.

What to expect

Post-treatment

After the injections there will be some initial swelling that can last between 24-48 hours. Some patients may experience bruising which should subside within 3-7 days. Makeup can be applied 24 hours after treatment. Regular activity can resume immediately following, but patients should avoid exercising for 24 hours.
